That's the living room with a small kitchen at the back...haha. ok... i've got so much to talk about so i'll start with today first...
Today is the first day of orientation and its the worst i've ever had! T___T i didn't make a friend at all! so you can imagine i'm mute from 8 plus in the morning to almost 5 pm..... except when i take my placement test where one part is oral....
The placement test was easy but i can't guarrantee that i can get a 85 and above to go to academic classes which is first year of university....so if i can't and there is no friends in the language classes, i will head straight back to sinagpore....... so we will know tomorrow when the results come out...... haha.....
Although its a bad day to me, i met something that is the cutest ever! haha... its the squirrel! OH MY GOD!! it is the cutest animal i've ever seen! haha.....it really lights my whole day......
For USA, the transportation is really inconvenient.... because the bus ends at 8.30 and i still have to walk 15 minutes to take a bus to get groceries......and the weather is very cold....... its 9 to 10 degree celsius here..... so by the time i get to the bus-stop, my face, hands and feet would all be numb......
Another disadvantage is that the things here are very expensive.......... a normal bowl of noodles is 5 bucks US dollars.......and everything except electronic devices is expensive........ haiz....and one thing! the taxi fare! it jumps 2 US dollars every minute...... so for only a 5 minute ride, you will have to pay 1o US dollars! i was so shocked..... haha.......
But a good thing here is...... the people are sooooo nice! For the four days that i've been staying here, i have encountered many incidents where people are soo nice....For example, i was riding the bus and i was asking the bus driver on how much we have to pay... so when the bus driver told me, i was still a little bit blur so the guy behind me thought i didn't have change to give to the bus driver and put in 50 cents for me...... actually i've got lots of coins.....haha... and that's not all...during the bus ride, my mother's plastic bag dropped from the seat to the ground and he quickly helps my mother to pick it up.........he is really nice right? haha....
Another example, we were waiting for the green man signal to cross the road and we had a printed map to find the place that sells computer( that's where i bought this laptop), so i wanted to check and see if we were on track so i took out the paper and the wind was so strong that it blew the two pieces of paper right to the opposite side of the road! the man quickly catches one of the paper but the other was still flying so he even went chasing after the piece of paper! we were soo thankful.. haha....
So that's how USA is like........ the city is full of Takashimayas....... so you can imagine how expensive the things are here......next time when i've cleaned up my room then you all see my room..... haha.... i will go take somemore pictures of the city and school if i'm still staying here....haha......... so that's all folks!

My dreams will blossom...
